In February 2025, Hootie the Owl from the USA took flight and ventured into the heart of the North East, landing in a vacant building at 18-20 Bigg Market in Newcastle… and just like that, Hooters Newcastle was born.

Back in 1983 in Clearwater Florida,

6 businessmen with no restaurant experience whatsoever got together to open a place they couldn’t get kicked out of, True story.
